Well I finnaly got my Cobra tri-oval flow exhaust and power flow air cleaner and EJK installed yesterday. The weather is not looking good for the next five days so I took the Stryker out for a spin last night alone. Wow what a difference. The new power is definitly noticeable. When you get on it the front end gets lighter. The sound from the TRI-FLO Oval two into one pipe is perfect:tongue:. I can barely hear it over the wind noise from my helmit cruiseing at 60 mph. In fact the Cobra intake is louder most of the time when I open her up. The warrior passenger foot extensions fit even better than with the stock pipes;).I do get some back fireing burrble but only when I let off at high rpms, not bad,Im use to it from my Roadliner any way,LOl. But its muffled pretty good and sounds bad ass to me :tsk:.Over all I can,t wait to get to ride more when this friggin rainy season finnaly stops:mad:. The EJK so far seems to be doing its job. I will have to ride alot more if any thing is to be tweeked. My 60-80top gear rollons are quicker for sure too! Im going to hold out on the 30tooth mod for last. maybe next year a port and polish on the heads, I see 95Hp in the future :suspicious:.

I'll be staying tuned for more on this. I like this look, and from this and other posts I think our opinions of sound are similar. You may have said it in another post, but can you remind me where you ended up buying this from? Looks great!

No problems. Pretty strait forward. Watch your radiator when installing the front header pipe.

I am really handy with tools and did all my mods on the warrior but ain't an expert like you so couple of questions for you:eek: plus there aren't as many how to on this forum yet.
1. How did you open the front pipe right bolt. Did you loosen the radiator or what did you use to open the bolt. Plus did you used a torque ranch.
2. For the EJK tunner did you take the tank off?
I just wanna install with the least amount of issues plus perfectly. Wanna keep the stryker for a long time:D sorry for so many questions!

You can remove 2 bolts on the bottom of the radiator (one on each side) and gently slide it outwards to give you room to wrench on the bolts and remove the exhaust. Also helps to use a small extension so you're not wrenching so close.

There are 2 bolts at the bottom of the tank, remove them and you can lift the tank up a couple inches so its easier to reach under. Make sure you hear/feel the click when you connect the EJK harnesses so you know they're tight and making a good connection. Be aware of how you are wanting to route your wires/harness, it may be easier to route it prior to connecting. I learned that the hard way ;)

Yea what Jester said. I didnt move my radiator out
of the way. I just was super causious. But it might be
a good idea to do so. I removed my gas tank any way
because I installed another power outlet for my phone
and GPS and speedo healer top speed switch. It did make
the instalation of the EJK harness alot easier. I hope
I can ride this weekend. This rain is relentless on the
weekends since this past winter till now. Geeeez.

those look nice.

Razz when I installed my v&h twins I did not drop my radiator or use a torque wrench... I used a ratchet wrench with adjustable head and it was pretty easy to remove all bolts. and just tighten them back up evenly. i put some anti-sieze on the nuts also... just take your time and be careful... I also put a rag on the frame so the exhaust didn't hit it accidently. pm me if you have more questions on installing the twins and get ready for the growl :)

Installed the v&h slash and the ejk tuner on Sunday and it sounds good. Ride is very smooth and no chugging in 2nd gear. Made me happy. Today received my cobra intake and installed it in 1/2 hour. Not very happy with high hissing cuz I had vbak on my warrior and that did not hiss this loud. Then I went for a ride and I still have a big smile on my face. For the first time I didnt miss my warrior at pick up speed. I haven't even played with ejk settings yet :D

Pretty soon you won't even notice the hissing sound. In the meantime, just let it be a reminder of all that yummy air the V-twin is sucking in....and anyone else who hears it and knows anything about bikes will know that too :biggrin1:

Hey Yammy... got a question for you...

Have you heard in person the Cobra Swepts, V&H Twin's or Big 2 - just wondering how the sound compares - loudness , deepness of rumble.

At the Stryker Rally - there were a variety of pipes there but not Tri-Pro's... will have to say that the V&H Twin's were about the loudest of bunch .

I have not heard any other Stryker with aftermarket pipes other than you-tube and you can't get the deep sound on you-tube. Sorry.
