Edit: The fix for my code 12 was the starter relay! Here’s the link for the one i bought. Works like a charm.

I’ve seen other posts about this error, but no one has actually ever said if they fixed it or not. With the code 12 you can hear the fuel pump kick on, but whenever you try to start the bike, the engine light just flickers. I’ve already replaced the battery, I’ve looked it up and code 12 means crankshaft position sensor. But I’ve seen other say that they replaced that and it wasn’t that so I’m trying to figure out if anybody else has fixed this problem.

Yessir, it was the Starter Relay! Bought this one from Amazon and it worked like a charm.. However, when you first turn it on and try killing it, it might not want to kill itself at first.. it will keep turning over.
So basically just kill it, then restart it even if its still ghost starting.

So basically just kill it, then restart it even if its still ghost starting.

Glad you got it fixed, are you saying that the new relay is keeping your starter engaged?

Yes, it did. Only once, though. Hasn’t done it since.
