ok I need help. I have been chasing a weird whistle/rattle that seems like it is coming from the exhaust when the bike is cold and getting off the throttle at high RPM's. I have swapped the complete exhaust with another stock one, and it is still there. SO my question is; does anyone else notice this??? It seems to go away once the bike has warmed up some but still drives me nuts for the short time it is happening, esp since I do city riding mon-sat.

PS, yes I made sure all shields and exhaust clamps were tight on both sets.

my whistle/ rattle comes and goes but I notice it at lower RPMs more often than on the open highway

The only noise I hear resembling a whistle from my bike comes from the engine itself. It sounds like a high pitched sewing machine, and unfortunately I can still hear it with aftermarket exhaust. I've read several posts in multiple forums that these sounds are normal and this is a noisy engine. I still don't like it though lol.
