So I'm not sure if this is where this belongs but since it is a question regarding an accessory I'll give it a go.

I'm looking into pre-ordering the Scala Rider G9 headset, I was wondering if anyone else has had the chance to read over the specs and your opinions?

We have the q2 set for bike to bike and satnav. The later models must be better, but I have no complaints about the q2.

i was able to borrow a G4 a few weeks ago from a buddy and it worked great using a 3/4 helmet and face mask, i was able to take calls from my wife without taking my hands off the grips and the transition from streaming audio to phone calls is seamless, I was able to place calls with simple voice commands. **** I think this thing works better than the bluetooth setup in my Dodge Ram but I guess people would stare if I was wearing a helmet driving my truck, probably not so much if i were riding a short bus and licking the windows

I found the G9 for $377 listed through Two Guys Cycle but that price is up in the air. I have been in contact with Kevin the last couple days. Trying to see if I can get the set put into a pre-order status for that price. ;D

The G9 is supposed to replace the G4 with a one+8 rider connection among other features, release date is sometime in April. The one+8 feature allows for upto 8 riders to link into the conference. I'm personally excited about this as my wife and I, father and mother, brother in law and his wife and 2 others can all be apart of a conversation during riding and all we have to do after initial connection is bump controllers to sync up...
