Congratulations and welcome from TEXAS! Being that you are a brand new rider I’d highly recommend taking some sort of motorcycle rider’s safety course.

I agree with above, taking a riding course really helped me out. I'm surprised you started with such a big CC engine, but atleast it isn't a sports bike start off. The Stryker has a ton of power, if you really lay on it.. be careful and have an awesome time.
