I was looking to get one of the cone air filters for my bike. The question I have is if I would get caught in a rain storm will it have an effect on the on the engine as far as saturating the filters and such?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated . Thanks

It would greatly depend upon the strength of the rain storm, some of the cone style filters come with rain resistant covers

I think of you got an outerwears for the filter you'd be safe in just about any rain you would want to ride in. It MIGHT act up if you were in a torrential downpour doing highway speeds.

What about the Kury Hyerchagers. Wouldn't they have the rain shoved down the barrels too?

If you get an L&M adaptor you can run HD filters. Other than that not sure of direct bolt ons?

The thunder manufacturing ones that PCS sells let you run HD ones too.
