You know I've been looking at a lot of helmets and I really like those scooter one. They are the only ones I've seen that the chin piece comes of like that. Would make it nice for summer riding. And the price is in the ball park. I just wonder if the quality stands up to others?

Bell helmets are a good helmet, they are about same price. I like my Scorpion though. They look a little similar.

Just remember...DOT is DOT... if a helmet is made for the street... it has to be DOT approved. I bought a "Scooter" half helmet from Jafrum's... it is DOT approved and look just like any other half helmet... I think the "Scooter" term is just a term.

Except modular, any helmet other than a full face doesn't have much of a survival rate. So it doesn't make that big of difference. Theres a reason they're called brain buckets. They are only usefull for scraping them off the road.

Nice, but from the picture it looks like not much of a seal around the face shield and chin guard. Might let in a lot of wind & noise on highway.

That's probably why they are called Scooters helmets because you are not gona go very fast on a scooter.
