As a copper Stryker owner, I was considering adding either the Cobra Pro Air or Barrons Big Air intake. I found some pictures on the Gallery with a copper Stryker and the chrome Cobra Pro Air, but I was wondering if there are any other copper owners out there with a black Pro Air or Barrons Big Air intake. Any pictures would be appreciated so I can figure out which one (and color) looks best.

If any copper owners have any other modifications I would love to see them. Not too many pictures in the Gallery with copper Stryker's.

Yea, I seen the 2 bikes parked together at Yami Dealer- huge difference in color between red and reddish-copper.

For 2012, the Stryker comes in Raven, Reddish-Copper and Candy Apple Red. My wife was excited to see a Candy Apple Red, but it turns out this color is more like a brick red. Personally I didn't like the 2011 Reddish-Copper in the store, but when I saw it in the light with the black wheels it grew on me real quick. Then for the price I paid for it I really loved it. Basically found it locally on CraigsList, 6 months old, 100 miles on it and I got it for about 60% of new. Person had to get rid of it due to family issues.

I have a reddish copper Stryker. I have not ordered just yet, but I am going to put on the Barons Big Air Kit and Cobra Swept pipes. I hope to do this within the next 45 days. I think it will look awesome, however, I am going for the chrome on both.

i just swapped my chrome air-box cover with a fellow forum member for his raven cover. I think it looks a lot better plus it was free. I'll do the full air-box mod once i have a tuner.

The one thing about the copper is you can go black or chrome. Either looks nice so it's a matter of preference but since it goes both ways, ;) You will probably second guess yourself no matter which route you take. Good Luck with your decision.

Bozzly - You hit my issue. I think both the chrome and black will look good. I saw your pics earlier and like the look of the chrome. I can't say I saw any pics with the Barrons Big Air Kit. They have a black intake with a small chrome design in the middle of it. Kind of best of both worlds. But I would also rather have performance over just looks. So that's why I was asking for any copper pics with modified intakes. Since I already have Cobra pipes, when I add the air intake I will also have to add the fuel controller so it won't be a cheap upgrade. At this point I figure I have time to look around and see what I like best.

Figured that is where you were going J&K, Sorry I really cant help you, as I almost want to get black pipes and intake just to switch out with my mood. Too bad they dont make some sort of color changer chrome to black with the touch of a button. LOL...

But Seriously an intake that is black with some chrome would look real nice and I am still considering changing my intake for something in that flavor. Post up a pic of the one you are looking at.

I guess I should say it "looks" like a chrome design but I've never seen one in person. They have a few other similar designs in chrome. Barron's said they designed this teardrop shape to fit between the V-twin. Here's a different angle with a chrome one.

I am using the powerpro autotune controller and contrary to problems others have stated they had, I find that using the cobra intake, cobra exhaust and cobra autotune work great together, absolutely no issues with this set up.

Here is an intake that I have been contemplating. I believe in order to use this one you would need the LM intake adapter.

Oooooooh, that does look slick. I can't say I saw that one before. It's kind of the best of all of them. Black, chrome and mesh. I'm sure that would look really good on the copper. Let me know if you decide to upgrade and how it works and looks. Being I would have to get the auto-tuner as well I'm not sure when I would upgrade the intake.

No Doubt J&K. I will post up if I get it. Most likely not till the end of the riding season as the season just started and I am already in the dog house with my cycle spending. lol...

Skwerlee, That is a nice intake but i tend to like the Kuryakyn Black/Chrome Hi-Five Mach 2 Air Cleaner Kit a little better if I can make it fit at a reasonable cost. Now that is the tough part.
