I recently purchased a Corbin seat and backrest designed to the 2011 Stryker. I am very impressed with it. It was priced comparable to the Mustang but had a lot of choices of leather and colors. The also do custom stitching. One note though. The Corbin site says the seat is compatible with the OEM quick release back rest system. This is true but only for the TALL quick release system. It does not work with the Short system.

I've had Corbin seats in the past and have been very pleased with them. A very firm seat, but I was always comfortable on them. I chose the Mustang over the Corbin for only one reason, the fact that it was 2 piece and allows me to have the solo look when the wife's not riding. Enjoy the seat.

What a drag, I have a short qr. Maybe I'll have to go gunfighter style. But that would look dumb with the rest. And if I dont use the rest where will I strap my lunch cooler?! ARRGH!

Does the seat keep you in the same position or did it move you forward some (like mustang seems to)?

The Cobra Short Backrest will work with the Corbin Seat. I got my Seat a few weeks ago but sent it back to have them customize the fitment a little better since it pushed me up and to far forward.
