Today was the first day my wife and I have attempted to ride two up since I installed the Progressive 465 and Avon 240. I completely forgot about my run turn brake controller being attached to the frame under the rear fender . Got to my brother in laws house and noticed I didn't have a horn so in the midst of checking my wiring found the RTB melted and pinned between the tire and frame and no rear lights with a blown fuse. We had to be in Watkins Glen to meet up with our STAR riding group to distribute patches. I tore everything off did a quick make do wiring job to at least have a tail light and we took off, got there 10 minutes late.

So tomorrow after work I have to adjust the suspension and fix the tail light. I ordered a Blaster X which actually showed up just before we had to leave so thats what I will be putting on. Unfortunately my original housing is trashed so I have to fab one. The tail light I was using is a 9 inch chromeglow and I plan on putting it on the sissy bar or bottom edge of the seat.

You are not alone on the Crap Luck story for Friday nite. I won't spill all the beans, but a great friend to us ended up with Flat tire. Hope that ends the bad luck for this season and all safe from here on out.

Blew the reverse gear in my truck moving a friends trailer cause his family was to lazy or whatever to take it back.:mad2::rant:
