I'm going to recommend not doing business with Corbin: I have a Corbin Gunfighter seat for my Stryker. It's a huge improvement over the stock seat but when I ordered it, the person handling it went on vacation for a month and a half and it didn't get submitted to the "shop" until he got back. So it took over 2 months to get my seat then I found out it was the wrong color (stone grey instead of black) even though the invoice showed the correct color and I spoke to someone on the phone to confirm color/material when I ordered. It also had the wrong mounting hardware so I had to modify that also before it would "lock".

I contacted Corbin about it and they said, "so send it back and we will redo it". I just asked for my money back when I returned it but they refused. I asked them to give me a credit so I could get one of their backrests, also refused. I told them I didn't have a lot of confidence that they would "do it right" this time and that they would get another seat to me in less than two more months and they said "that's your decision"

So I ended up spending $650 on a seat that I waited 2.5 months to get, had to re-dye myself, had to machine new mounting brackets and Corbin was unwilling to credit me in any way for their mistakes.

Wow, that sounds like a bad experience all the way around. How long a go was this?

Wow that's terrible customer support. You know I bought one for my magna. It wasn't exactly the the color or pattern that I wanted but I knew what I was up against. Then when I bought the stryker it already had a corbin on it . Only thing missing was a rider backrest. I found one on ebay that fit and only cost me like 80 bucks. The other issue was that the heat control switch was busted off ( it's the heated seat ) . I called corbin and explained that I just needed a new switch. The guy says well you'll have to mail the whole seat back. I'm like what ???? -- why can't you just sell me the switch???? ... needless to say we went back and forth and nothing got done. Here in Florida I don't really need a heated seat. I agree though. They are terrible. Also on a last note , they want anywhere between 600 and 1500 dollars, yet no free shipping.. what ??? I get free shipping from Amazon on anything over 25 bucks . 😆

I wonder if their service has gotten better or worse since covid :cautious:
Nope doubt it . Just read the reviews. I called them in November of last year ( 2022). Covid was pretty much over by then . If you read my thread the guy was a dick about my seat. I told him that the seat was heated and I just needed a new switch ( on off switch) ... He told me I'd have to send in the entire seat . I mean we'd be looking at months maybe before I got my seat back. I said hey , I just want to buy the part . OH NO he said that's not how we do it ... and I argued some more and then he says well call back tomorrow.. I never bothered. Just given the run around. There's no reason why they couldn't sell me the part.

Couldn’t agree more , customer service is terrible. I bought mine in 2016 and had an issue tried to work it out with them- ignorance is what I got.

Even worse, it was almost belligerent negligence. It seems that they were completely aware of how badly they were handling it and didn't really care. My theory on my own order is that someone ordered a seat and cancelled, so they just sent me the one the other person ordered with the attitude of "there's nothing you can do about it, so just suck it up and take the seat we give you"
