I have the Brakeaway throttle lock... a bit pricey... but great quality, and it releases by touching the front brake lever or pushing the thumb release. Highley recommend it! Look nice too....

I've got Kury's version of that throttle lock, which is pretty much identical. It kinda sucks, but it gets the job done. It slips when it should stick, or sticks when it should slip. I've had it bind up at bad times a few times. I've had my kids fool with it and started my bike at full throttle.

When used as directed, it's nice to have and it was cheap. I'd buy the Brakeaway if I wanted to spend that kind of money, but I'm pretty broke.

Haven't heard anything on this subject for a while. Anybody have a system on their Stryker? I've been looking at this style and was wondering if they were any good.

I have started to put this on my bike but have not finished. I also have the throttle assist on their which gives my hand a chance to stretch out and use the heal of your palm to stay on the throttle. I have heard of the Mccruise and its well built but a little pricey.

It is called a 5cent cruise control. You put it in the same place as the vista cruise and others and it causes resistance the same as the $25-$75 throttle locks.
Since I took the picture, I add some electrical tape so it is easier to remove.
First pic O-ring in place.

This is to show it a little clearer.

^^^^^^Just one **** of an idea I'd never seen before. I figured I'd try this for my ride to Leesburg and it works fantastic. One difference though, I put the O ring on the other end of the grip, right where the grip ends. For me its easier to put in and out of that slot. Just roll it in, when your done just roll it out... ;D

A big thanks to szabla for a great little trick that works like a champ and didn't break the bank...lol...

I would highly suggest that anyone wanting cruise control try this before spending a dime...

Where did you pick up this particular little o-ring with a tab on it?

Ah. If I opened my eyes I would have answered my own question

He put electrical tape on it so it would be easier to take off. This is why I put it on the other end of the grip. Its simple to roll in and out of the slot with one hand in a second...
