No body buy these! They will make your hands wet from the vibrations! ;D

FYI: Dampening means to moisten or to make slightly wet. I believe the term you intended to use is "damping". ;)

Also, you're missing the area code on your phone number. So it may be hard for anybody to get ahold of you if they do infact want wet hands while they ride.

Actually, it can mean either to what you refer or to what the OP refers:

dampening present participle of damp·en (Verb)

  • [li]Make slightly wet: "the fine rain dampened her face".[/li]
[li]Make less strong or intense: "nothing could dampen her enthusiasm".[/li]

Lol U fellas are Funny!! Its true both ways
Haha... I know it works both ways. I was just trying to make a joke! ;) Clearly I got my "make slightly wet" definition from the same place as StrykerGuy. I just though it was funny. I took a mechanical vibrations class in school and that was one of the things that the professor made sure we absolutely knew the difference about. A dampener reduces the vibrations felt where as a damper actually reduces the vibrations.

Just to clear the air, in this case, the rubber grip is actually a vibration dampener. Weighted bar ends would be vibration dampers. :)

I don't know.... This OP is talking about using the "cup of your hand" to deal with "wrist fatigue" and vibrating, rubber etc. It all sounds filthy. Time to lock this thread. :p
