Just wrapped up my latest garage project.........need some opinions. I like it, not sure if I love it, but it will definitely be functional for the wife and for strapping a pack to.

I'd rather the back bar, running up to the pad, be a bit more bent? Maybe i've just looked at my yamaha one so long, than it looks a bit off to me having 1 straight line going up.

Design looks good. I would some how make where it bolts on to curve around how the fake OEM fender brackets are. Overall love it if had the torch and welder I would do about the same thing you did.

Great idea, but like others have said, the right angles just aren't doing it justice.

Yeah, the angles were tough to get right, however I think the picture maybe doesn't give the best view. There is about a 15 degree bend in the tubular part of the assembly. I'm gonna think about doing some more grinding on the mounting brackets to try give it that curved look more similar to the faux struts. I tried to match the line of the exhaust and the decals on the tank, and it lines up well, I'm just not sure those were the right lines to try mimick. We'll see. The edges of the bracket on the front and backof the piece bolted to the fender bracket are dished out as well. If the bike is upright from side profile the curves are more prominent - the bike is on the sidestand in the pics.
