It's hard to beat a two year warranty! I'd really consider it if I didn't go the Chrome Glow route.

I got the email as well and ordered two. I also figured with a 2 year warranty it's worth a shot. It looks like pre-order is $25 less expensive as the regular price. I figured there would be a lot of quick orders.

Just ordered one myself, figure if there's problems with the light we'll all be in the same boat - and like everyone's saying, 2 year warranty can't be beat (as long as they're good with warranties of course).

Just ordered mine too Its ironic, I just installed the Kawi R6 light tonight LOL

But I know that the cheap kawi light will lose some led soon enough ... Then I will switch to the custom led one ...

So I saw on their directions that the stobe feature can be engaged at anytime by a grounding wire.

So does anyone have any good ideas for a weatherproof switch that can be mounted by the clutch so the strobe feature can be easily activated??

I got my tracking number and its on the way. Now im getting the cold shoulder from the girlfriend cause i bought the tail light.... she'll get over it.

I justified it under safety concerns. I said "Baby, it's brighter than stock and has a strobe mode so I can be very noticeable from distance if I ever break down" She in turn said "I'll buy it for you" but I had already ordered it

Well the new lights came in the mail today! Reading through the directions all the wires plug into the OEM except one wire. That wire is the grounding wire for the strobe effect and also to change the brake patern. You just have to connect a seperate wire to a ground and then to a toggle switch. My question is...where is the best place to mount some type of toggle?

I'm sure people with LED's have some type of toggle mounted somewhere.

Will do! Right now I'm trying to figure out the best solution for the toggle switch. I found this handlebar switch which should work and would be easy access...but don't know if I'm over-complicating things.

The directions note that the toggle switch will override all other functions of the tail light. So I don't want to put the switch in a hard to see location in case you accidentally hit it on and don't know it and have no tail light functions. That's why I like the idea of the switch being in plain sight.

I'm waiting for others with more knowledge to give their opinion!
