Did a search for Blaster and nothing came up, I know CustomLed was mentioned in the R1 tail light section so rather then hi-jack that thread completely here it is. This video was posted 3 days ago on youtube for the new Blaster-X Tail Light for the Stryker. It looks to me it just inserts into the stock housing. It's actually not bad but I personally would still modify the ducktail. http://www.youtube.com/embed/xioSoses95c

I thougt about doing the sme thing. I can see this thread taking off very quickly. I emailed Custom LED yesterday to be put on their email list for pre-orders. I got a quick reply that said..."will do. Thanks." I guess we will just have to wait for some additional informaiton. Yes it does appear to use the same stock light housing.

For those that already removed the turn signals. What did you use to fill the holes?

I'm going to replace my defective Kawi light with this thing. Seeing that it mounts the same way the factory and Kawi light does it should just be a direct replacement with my current setup.

I have that Kawi light brand new in box ... but I think that I will wait and get that one instead.

I like it.....I'll likely let a few others try it out before I dive in....

Anyone know if there will be a license plate adapter for this, I'd like to be able to remove all the plastic (already cut down the stock) and I don't want a side mount plate...

So what options are there to replace the front signals? Preferably something that can be seen in broad daylight.

Then there is always the search feature... There is actually alot more options in my opinion for the front then the rear, just takes some browsing and imagination.

Just cut all that plastic **** completely off. The mounting bracket can easily be trimmed down where none of it is showing but still have enough to mount the light to the fender....just my honest opinion. All that plastic crap looks like well.....crap

They told me by email that it should be in the 129$ - 149$ range. But they were clear that it was not a promise on this ... the final price might vary.

But still, it gives us an idea.

These look pretty nice. I guess I could put them on my wheelchair after they cause me to get into an accident.

**** that's expensive! Maybe we can get a group buy discount for members of this forum.
They might be expensive but there are 2 things we need while riding 1 be seen 2 common sense.....and you can only buy 1, I would hope with the different flash modes like the brake alert would help us be seen

For the front:
I have the Yamaha Passing Lamps... They can be on or off for the light function, and as a pair there just as good as the stock lamp (non high beam of course) It's a huge actually yellow arrow on the turn signal function, and it shuts of the lamp on that side when the lights are turned on.
I'll post pictures now that I can get them off my phone. Someone else wanted to see them too.

For the rear:
I was going to take the stock turns off and put Kuryaken Razor Eyes with the brake and turn functions, and now that I see this also replace the tail light with it... I'm still trying to figure out someway to remove the rest of the end and move the license plate up, keep the required NYS (Rear Facing) Red Reflector, and license plate lights... So far I figure a LED (white strip) lighting for the plate that, and a simple slim red reflector or some sort of red reflective tape along the back fender to maybe put right on the fender as a wrap around rather than the L&M mod. Then can take out the reflector/plate light and mount the license plate where it was while removing the useless and not required side relectors on the bracket (As well cut it off at the ends) and get rid of a good couple inches of plastic below the plate.
I read the darn motorvehicle laws of nys in regards to motorcycles, and it's odd you need a rear red reflector when you have a rear red taillight on ALL the time, but I think that is before they required the daytime headlight to be on, and didn't anticipate the rear would be on also as dim. The license plate light being lit up is also on the books, so I figured I'd cover that with the white led string right on a holder or something. I just don't a stupid excuse for a ticket when they do the motorcycle checkpoints only... Which seem to be alot of around here.
