I picked up some Valvoline 4-Stroke Motorcycle Oil in 10W-40 for $4.99/qt. I just couldn’t justify spending $10+/qt. for synthetic when I know that good quality modern conventional oil will get the job done. I also picked up the 3.25" Wal-Mart SuperTech ST7317 oil filter for $2.80. Our bikes call for 3.59 quarts with a filter change but she darn near took 4 due to the larger oil filter.
