Has anybody pulled off their decals? I'm thinking of doing it but I'm leary of screwing it up. Any instructions on how best to do it?

so what you are saying if we wanna peel the tank decals we need to get the tank repainted or at least re-coated?

got that eye sore warning decal and chrome piece off the tank... will post pics when i get off work tonight or tomorrow when i get up

Yeah i did that in the first week as well...and because I live in Canada I get two! English and French. PITA to get off...the clear plastic came off the top and then had to heat and finger nail the entire paper sticker little piece at a time.Goodwell163 said:

yeah thats what happened to me as well... next i am removing the star sticker from the side and Yamaha sticker off the back. and then when i get the cash i am removing the decals from the tank and repainting it.... im going Denim Black... with some flat red ghosting pinstripes.

Funny, I had some guy walking his dog looking over my bike for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what it was and then he finally say the Star sticker. I should take those off too and then it'll be really hard...lol
