Hey all,
Can anyone comment on the amount of decel pop from the Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-into-2 Exhaust? Westened motorsport has a good price on these right now and I want to pick one up, however from my past experience, ALL after market exhaust experience decel pop which can be annoying most of the times, even my current sportbike with TwoBros.

Even stock mufflers have decel pop. You don't hear it due to being very muffled. If you don't add a different air box that will help some. But if you do you will most likely have to add a fuel processor.

Yeah gtbigup01 I have the V&H Twin Slash w/air intake + power commander and my bike gives very loud decel pop. I actually love it, and I have complete control over when it happens. Basically it happens when you use the engine as a brake, or keeping your RPMs up as you brake into a turn or slow to a stoplight. If you want to avoid decel popping then simply pull in the clutch until you come to a stop. I do this in certain situation when I don’t want to draw attention to myself. But I love the sound of my pipes and decel popping which I have full control over.

I have the V&H Big Radius 2 into 2, Cobra FI2000 PowrPro Autotune and stock air box and have decel pop. I've only have a couple short rides on the setup, so I haven't decided if it's to much pop or not. I will tell you that I love the pipes, sound and performance are great.

This is weird how people have decel pop. I don't know if it is brand specific but my setup is cobra swepts, cobra tuner (non auto), and "$57" intake mod and I don't have decel pop unless I rev the crap out of her then letting off the throttle or I accidentally miss a gear down shifting.

Your setup isn’t creating anything different, decel popping is created when you are up in the higher RPMs (as I almost always am).

Interesting responses!! Thanks all. I had Vance and Hines on my 07 Shadow Spirit 1100 and loved it at first but it got annoying after 2 yrs so I'm a bit hesitant to pull the trigger but at $560 i'm sure that won't stay at that price very long, and I haven't met anyone in close proximity to listen to theirs. Guess I should have went to the stryker meet up recently adv ertised here in Ga
