Just Toby's and mine have roller rockers!
We got roller rockers?
How friggin cool is that!!!
Ye but lol I'm talking about the motors not us.Just Toby's and mine have roller rockers!
My dealer has that same exact bike on the floor. I have been considering a trade for the past month, but air cooling turns me off some, also the reach to the bars is a little too far. But they are a beautiful bike, wish the stryker had more chrome, i am a chrome *****.Daisy power sports has a beautiful pearl wight Raider for $13,800
I guess that takes me back to my original question; Is the Raider worth the extra money for what you'll get out of it? So maybe I can ask it in a way that anyone here can answer, because this is my concern:For me, it was the lack of a liquid cooling system that turned me away from the raider. Well, that and the higher insurance for the larger engine. I did not feel the Raider was worth the extra coin for what I would get out of it. Just what worked for me and what variables were more important to ME.

That is extremely helpful info. I know some people are happy with their seats...but I knew going in a seat would be on my list. Thanks6 hrs of 2up riding straight, only thing i longed for was a better seat. No complaints on power, vibration or ease of ride
I think hands down I figured out the Stryker is easily the best bang for anyone's buck. I never glanced at a Raider until a used one popped up for under 11k with only a few thousand miles on it. Then my mind got all screwed up. It's almost bike getting time. And I've been looking forward to the Stryker for months. But the price on that Raider got me asking questions.I think the answer to the question of value is the Stryker is the best bang for your buck.
The answer to the question in size is, two sizable people say 220+ lbs each, the Stryker would start to get cramped for long rides. But power and load handling is still there.
I think after all the input I'm still excited most about the Stryker. Anyone think I can get the dealer to throw a 240 on the back as part of the purchase?Yikes your screwed lol. Best thing you can do is go test ride them then.
With those numbers the only things to think about is the Strykers liquid cooled, price of insurance is much less, handle ability is better verses Raiders more power, bigger size and more chrome. Oh I don't think it was mentioned that the Raider runs on premium gas. So the only thing that has changed is the price difference. Which now is about $2000? Put that much in power mods in the Stryker and I don't think the Raider would be much faster if at all.
To me because of where I ride the liquid cooled would be the seller. In fact it is because I have been shopping for another bike for long rides to replace the 950 and that wight Raider sure caught my attention but it boils down to the liquid cooled. So we will be a two Stryker family if we can get a good deal.
I'm not sure how you feel about ebay and craigslist, but there are some nice strykers to be found w/ low miles + aftermarket extras. I bought mine thru ebay and couldnt be happier. Theres currently a nice blacked out blue one for $6800, w/ V&H pipes, spike intake, PCV and more w/ 850 miles.Maybe I should have said that sooner too. I'm not talking about a 15k dollar Raider. I'm comparing a 9k dollar Stryker to an 11k dollar Raider with about 3k miles on each give or take.
