I installed a new Metzler 240 this weekend but did not balance it. Not sure if there really is a need being that it is on the back of the bike. What about you guys? What are your thoughts?
I'm still on the stock 210 however I'm going to use Ride-On when i install my Avon 240 next month.midlifecrisis said:I installed a new Metzler 240 this weekend but did not balance it. That's a great deal! I'd pick-up a 3rd bottle while you're at it so you can do the front tire too. The front takes 8oz and the 240 takes 15ozmidlifecrisis said:I'm gonna pick up some Ride on today. I have a $10 coupon at my local dealership and they have it in stock. This plus my 15% discount for buying my Stryker from them will put me at $15 for two bottles. Not too bad.
word...just let the air out and remove the valve-core. Squeeze the appropriate amount of that stuff in there, re-install the valve-core and re-inflate.immortal13 said:That stuff just squirts in the tire while its already on right??
The best thing i like of these options is it balances as you ride --- for the life of the tire and ride on acts as a tire sealent sort of like like slime but without the mess. And no weights are needed for the rimGreen said:I had my Avon 240 balanced when it was installed.
