Well I went out last Wednesday to my local dealership saw a couple of bikes I liked well one I liked. A used Victory Vision 8Ball with 2300 miles. Nice clean bike but it was the base model. Well I didn't get the Vision and end up coming back the next day and buying a 2013 Kawasaki Vaquero. Mean looking machine that have everything I wanted. 1700cc,Cruise control, radio, Ipod connection, 6 speed/OD... This is my 3rd bike in 4 1/2 year. And probably the last for a while. Its been a good time on this forum and I learned a great deal in the past year. Hope I learn a lot on the Kawi boards. It was a bitter sweet good bye to my Stryker. Take care all and Ill stop in from time to time.

Nice looking bike. When I saw the pic I was wondering if we work at the same place because somebody has one just like yours in the parking lot when I pulled in & that's the 1st time I've seen it. + I didn't see the other Stryker that normally parks there.

Unless you road 3,000 miles just to park in my work's parking garage I'm guessing its somebody following in your footsteps

Wow nice ride. I would consider this as well. Dual front disc brakes, factory integrated bags and faring and that flat black is sick. Ride safe brother.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I didn't realize Star discriminated on its warranty between models. We get a one year and this model gets a five? What's up with that? I looked at every other model and its a one year warranty except the Venture.

My understanding is that the Venture is going away. So maybe the 5 yr on that model is to help sell them off.

As far as I know, the Royal Star lineup has always had a 5 year warranty.

Ok, I was guessing on the reason but i have heard that the Venture is in its last legs and will be discontinued. Although a nice bike, it is way too top heavy.

Hope you have better luck then me on the Kawi site. I know after selling my Stryker, the Venture sites suck, so I'm still hanging out here. :tongue:
