I dont really rely on a tach, but it seems like whenever i let off the gas for a quick second and go back on it, I am bogging down and have to drop down.... situations like that it would be nice to have a tach...

Thought about throwin something aftermarket on, but probably never will

Hey Wes- I had that too until I installed the Cobra Autotune. You would not believe the difference in this bike with it! But to answer your Question- Yes I would like a tach regardless!

yep they could of put it into the odometer screen and i would of been happy. On my polaris atv thats where the tach readout is located. It seems like a easy programming change for a performance company to reflash the ECU to have tach readout I'd even sacrifice one of the trip odometer screens I only use one of them anyway.

I kinda got attached to the tach on my old bike. Watching the tach could sometimes tell me if it was skipping or something like that. Without a tach wonder if it just my imagination.

With the stock exhaust, yes. With the aftermarket exhaust I can hear exactly what the engine is doing and I don't even think about it anymore.

I have the Cobra Swept exhaust, but I dunno, seems like when im off the gas, it looses RPMs real quick, and then I go back on the gas, and I have to drop down a gear, once in awhile even 2....

I was surprised when I was test riding it that it didnt have a tach, but I was in love with the bike, so I bought it regardless...

Yeah I was so infactuated with the bike that it didn't matter either way.

Hey Wes- The fix to that with any of the pipes is the Cobra CVT Autotune!

I didn't even know these bikes had a rev limiter.

Anybody know where it starts cutting out? Is it fuel or spark controlled?

Ive never had one on a bike. But yes I would like one. Also a gear position would be nice, I totally agree with kingofleon. On that note I was looking at a replacement for our speedo. Expensive as **** tho.
