I just bought a backrest from a forum member but it isnt coming with any hardware. I found the bolt size on the forum but there is no mention of the spacer size.. Does anyone have a set of spacers I could buy or know the size that is comparable to the original ones? Any info would be appreciated!

I bought some bolts and spacers and some rubber washers to cut down on the vibration noise from ace hardware the other day.. Dirt cheap compared to the dealership. I'll measure when I get home tomorrow and let you know the lengths. 2 are short and 2 are long.

I also bought my backrest from a furom member. It didn't come with the spacers, but it came with the parts list that showed the dimensions. I don't remember the exact numbers, but 3/4" for the front bolts and 1" for the back bolts is very close to the actual sizes. That is for the tall fixed anyway... I can only assume the short would be the same.

Just measured mine, 1" and 1 1/4"..........keep in mind, I don't have my rear fender plastic covers on. I would guess they are about 1/4" I think.
Just measured the spacers that come with it and 3/4" and 1"

Are the bolts threaded all the way? are they hex head or bolt head? anyone have a close up pic of the bolt?

They are Allen heads. Thread lengthy doesn't make a difference.
