Drilled the exhaust today. It was really easy to do and really improved the should. I didn't get the holes lined up as well as I wanted but hey can't see them anyways. So without further ado here is the before video

And the after video

I can't drill out the middle due to NC inspection requirements. Not 100% sure I will replace the exhaust before it is due in a year. I am hoping to but you never know when the wife will cut me off LOL.

I would do that but they are strict here in NC about baffles and do punch to bore to verify they are intact. The holes I can get away with but if the stick goes all the way in I will be in trouble.

Nice! This brought back some good memories...seems like just yesterday I was out in the driveway taking the power-tools to my bike that only had 30 miles on it! It's hard to believe that was almost 2 years and 14,500 miles ago.

drilled the holes last summer but decided to go with the Cobra slip on for more saddle bag clearance. The slip on has a much better sound than the drilled exhaust without being to loud. It also looks a lot better than the bulky OEM muffler.

I like the V&H Big radius 2 into 2 but can't see spending almost 700 for the exhaust and then another 150 to 200 to get the powder coated black. I actually like how the stock exhaust looks just wish it was more curved to go with the lines of the bike a bit better.

Baffles and cat still intact. Like in my pic it's like some legal sportbike pipes.
