Drillled Exhaust Question

I bought a drilled exhaust from one of our members with the 4 half inch holes. Is that the optimal amount of holes, or drilling additional holes make them louder or deeper in sound? I have heard that some have 6 and even 8 holes. I wouldn't want to drill more if there is no benefit.

. I actually like the way drilled baffles sound. But don't like the way the stock mufflers look. And now that I dropped the rear 2 and a 1/4 inches the pipes drag before the the pegs hit. So when I can afford it I will swop them out for something that looks better and and gives more road clearance.
I love the way it sounds but the looks are lacking to me also . The slip on should be close to the same tone but the two into two is my preference . The swepts are what I am wanting but afraid the tone my be higher since the size is smaller diameter . That's the only thing delaying the order . Want to hear in person first .

Go to my profile and check out my video of the baffle wrap on the Swept.

If your PC speakers are a good quality, you will get a good sound.

Cool thanks Mikoloe :)
OHHHHHH I LIKE THAT SOUND ! Has the low tone I m looking for . Thank you
Did anyone get popping or backfiring after drilling out the baffle and not installing a tuner?
Yep, but not so much backfiring- Popping yes. All vtwins do it, just cant hear it with stock mufflers and Stock backpressure.
I call it talk back .( It is just telling you it likes open throttle )Not backfire . As I have put glasspacks mufflers on my vehicles . Totally different from a backfire. You have just made it easier for the engine to breath and these engines love to run .
