I can’t seem to get my bike to start. It’ll run for a second then turn back off. Can I spray started fluid in the throttle body to see if it’s a fuel issue?
don't say anything about the conditions/ use of your bike, any fault code in the display?, with no info at all I should check electrical system prior to gas or air...I can’t seem to get my bike to start. I'm no mechanic ( disclosure lol 😆) but if it starts for a second then we got spark. That means it's a fuel issue somehow. I would try about 4 ounces of seafoam added to the gas . Others have asked you about the history and so that may tell a better story. Was the bike in storage for a period of time. When was the last time you rode it hard ?? ( they like that 😆) ... carbon buildup on the plugs is not good. Have you changed them for new ones ? It's simple to do and costs like less than 20 bucks .. I used LMAR6A-9 instead of lmar7 . Let us know what is going on when you get it up and running again.I can’t seem to get my bike to start. It’ll run for a second then turn back off. I’ve replaced the starter but I was busy and it’s been sitting for about 3/4 months. When I finally changed it and tried to start it. It wouldn’t start up for more than a second or two.You can shoot a little stating fluid in there, though if it is already starting and then dying it will likely act just the same. Has the bike been running ok recently? Have you done any work or upgrades?
What’s the best way to check the electrical system?don't say anything about the conditions/ use of your bike, any fault code in the display?, with no info at all I should check electrical system prior to gas or air...
Best way?, a multímeter and the service manual... electrical/ electronic system controls the rest..., and think deductively is helpful checking failures: from general/ probably, starter motoor?- to specific. What’s the best way to check the electrical system?
