Saw on the tire spec thread it's taller
Will it fit without any mods?
Is it a good tire?

My tire is way bald, don't think I want to have to worry on my 359 mile ride home tomorrow.

Found a place that has the elite 3 in stock and could have it installed tomorrow, by squeezing me in.

Tried a quick search, but being in phone only makes it hard.

Hoping for some quick info on fit.

Otherwise I'd have to get the 210, since no Avons or metzlers in stck around here

No personal experience, but others have it and I have heard no complaints. Probably OK as long as you are not lowered 2.25".

Sweet thanks, I thought I read that somewhere too.

My big is no lowered, at the shop about ready to purchase it.
$189, I can take it to another shop tomorrow who said would squeeze me in, if I'm there before they open.

Ventura Yamaha Cal Coast had 1 in stock, and on sale, the guy told me if I would have had the rim would be free installation too..... Too bad I don't have the tools. Awesome bike shop.

Simi valley is cool for squeezing me in tomorrow morning or so they just told me over the phone. And then the 350 miles back home....

FYI, I put this tire on my Stryker about 3 weeks ago, no mods required, my suspension is all stock ... and I love the new ride quality!!! Good luck!!

Thanks....should have it on by 11 tomorrow, and immediately be off for a 350 mile ride, so hoping for a smooth ride

Really wanted to get the Avon 240, which based on reviews here seemed to be the favorite option, but I thought I'd have more time (6.5k on the original), now I'm just happy someone had a 240 in stock....will ease my mind for the long ride, and it's a 240....
Hopefully it'll work with LM's lowering spring, which I have but is not installed yet.

You will be good with the lowering spring or PCS links at 1", just not the 2.25". Have a safe trip Joker!
