Any easy bracket owners out there with a detachable backrest?

My brackets arrived yesterday and I am having difficultly mounting the bracket post. To me it seems the bolt they sent might be two short.

The bolt should hold the backrest mount along with the easy bracket mount. When both are on the threads do not grab indicating the bolt provided is too short. The one provided in 6 cm. Oddly the one on the bike that I was suppose to swap out in longer at 6.5 cm.
It looks like this should requires a bolt around 7-8 cm long.

The bracket I purchased is specific to the Stryker with a detachable backrest. They offer three options , one for no backrest. One for non detachable and one for detachable. The documentation indicates they sent the right one according to the order code.

I emailed the manufacture who said to call Monday for support.

Anyone have issues wit mounting their easy bracket?

Mine went on fine, but I have a solo set up. You should be able to buy some longer bolts at a good hardware store. I've had to buy different bolts on a couple of other add ons. The sleeves are the really important part.

I have them on another bike, but not on the Stryker.

If the bolts are the wrong size, call customer service, they will send you the appropriate ones at no charge.
