TRUX Mart now has re-listed the plastic chrome trim rings used by a few folks on these forums. . . . . for tank trim
I ordered 2, one for paint - one for shiny, to play with.

For those still needing one, I ordered mine from Big Rig Chrome Shop. I emailed them about the shipping price and since it was a small item they shipped via usps for only a few bucks. Great people to deal with.

When you install this, don't put the tape on the edge of ring. It will then make putting the gas cap back on impossible. At least for me it did. I put my tap as a loop from outer edge to inner edge. And make sure it's all the way to the tank.

i'm just going to trim off about 1/16" and silicone it on.

I had to do both. I did the tape loops on the inside of the ring and still had to sand the bottom down a bit to get things right. Can't believe how good that thing looks for the price.
