I have started this thread to try and get a discount for any forum users looking to get the EJK controller. I know a few have already bought them and if you don't mind post your comments about it here. I have put in an e-mail to EJK about possible discounts since they do offer 10-20% to forum users as long as there is an open thread with buyers discussing how they like there controllers.

I plan on buying mine this Friday or Sat regardless if we get a discount or not but would be an incentive for anyone in the future looking to buy from EJK. Will also try and put a How-To for the install when mine comes in, it seems pretty straight forward but I am planning on running a L&M seat so i will have to find a suitable place for the controller.

Will post the discount code if we are accepted into the discount program and add /DISCOUNT CODE to the threads name. depending on how they go about the discounts.

Here is the email i received from EJK....seems Gman is made by the same people.

We do already offer a forum discount. We just need to receive an email stating which forum and the person's username. www.ElectronicJetKit.com/productdiscounts.asp

The 2 year warranty is our manufacturer warranty on all our naturally aspirated products. The EJK is our in-house brand name, but we do manufacturer the Gman controller.

Let me know your username and I can provide you a promo code to receive a discount when checking out online.

Any other questions just let me know. Regards,

In addition to the forum discount, I also noticed a 20-50% discount for military and vets. Wasn't looking for one, but now........

I just received my forum discount and it ended up being $200 with free shipping. Would like to thank EJK for the HUGE discount they gave me and I will try and do a how to with pics when it comes in.
Good Job on the purchase, you won't regret it. I love mine, it does wonders at not only kicking up the performance, but saving me gas. I have yet to actually figure out the numbers, but have noticed I get an extra day out of her on the tank...

Enjoy and let me know if you have any Q's

Good my mpg went down a little after adding the Swept Cobra's and I don't even ride all that hard. UPS tracking shows it will be in Monday so it looks like I will be installing the following Friday and weather permitting try it out.

Does the programmer have an on/off switch? Was just thinking that if the programmer is powered on all the time wouldn't it discharge the battery after awhile of just sitting idle. Only reason I ask is I only get to ride on the weekends due to being out of town on business most of the week.

Installed EJK, sorry didn't do a walk through it was just to easy.

Took two bolts holding tank down near the seat and then tank slides backwards and gives enough room to reach the injectors.

Pop female plug off injector and plug that into male coming from EJK wire harness and female from EJK harness to injectors (two injectors total). Hide and zip tie wires, mount box were you would like it and wire the leftover black wire with ring terminal on negative battery post. Start bike and see if lights flash as it says on instructions manual.

Probably took 30 minutes and most of that was looking for bolts holding from of tank in place.....there are none btw, tank slides backwards towards seat.

Only took it around the block so didn't get it warmed up enough to notice any major difference. Probably adjust green light down a light to conserve fuel though, have read it helps somewhere on here.

EDIT: What is the benefit of unplugging the O2 sensor have seen most people suggest this.....just did the resistor mod last week, so wouldn't this just bypass that. Went ahead and un-plugged but would like to know what it does.

Finally got to take my bike for a spin today and WOW that programmer makes a noticeable difference. After about an hour i bumped the green light down one time and rode for about another hour. Will most likely bump it back up though the exhaust popping came back, and i would rather get no popping over a few mph better gas mileage.

Someone had posted that Gman said to unplug the o2, otherwise the computer would fight the programmer based on the o2 readings. Yes it bypasses the o2 resistor mod, but not needed with a programmer.
