hello,
so i have the ejk tuner (set at factory setting)the cobra slip on, and an LA choppers air filter. i had a couple of occurances today when i took off that sounded like a backfire or pop through the air filter, this happened when i started it initially and once when i took off at an intersection.

the other issue i notice is that the bike seams gutless when taking off initially from intersections. I have had the tuner on for about 1000 miles and the pop through the air filter happened the first time today, although the gutless issue has been persistant since the initial ride after the install of the pipe,tuner and air filter.

there are some small backfires during decel but this doesnt concern me a whole lot.

Has anyone noticed the backfire through the air filter or gutless issue i have mentioned above? And does any one have any ideas on which settings i should adjust on the tuner? thank you

I have the exact same set up but with the power commander 5 and have the same issues with the blow back or puff of air or backfire (whatever it would be called)coming from the intake. It usualy only happens with me when the bike is a litle cold when I first start up and take off. I also noticed the loss of power on the low end. top end is great.
I just ordered the auto tune for the pcv today hoping it would help. The map that is in it now was professionally dyno tuned

Any answers on what this is and how to correct it would be great...or maybe its normal stuff but I would at least like to get the low end torque back
