I'm not entirely sure why there is so much screen waving going on. Friend on FB said it may be due to some type of auto stabilizer coded into the system. I may need to figure out a new way to mount it, or get some small sprints to try and help stabilize the camera.

Not too bad consider it's nearly 300 cheaper than a GoPro.

If you're just filming to have video evidence in the event of a collision then your current setup is good. But if you're filming to enjoy watching some killer riding footage you should spend the extra $300 IMO. That was literally painful to watch as it was giving me a headache....this doesn't even compare to the GoPro footage I've seen. Hopefully the software stuff will improve your issues.

Good point. And again, it was only 55 bucks. Not a deal breaker, if we decide to not use it.

Got through about 10 seconds before I felt queasy. Seems like the processor is to slow to adjust to the moving environment. Limited use me thinks. Good luck with it.

Here is a video of just a bicycle. It seems to do the same thing, even at slow speeds, so it's not the bike vibration. It just is a cheap camera, used for proof on wrecks and such.

I think I need sea-sick pills :yuck: you’re going to want to sort that out. Assuming this is not a render issue and you simply uploaded the raw-camera files and this is what the camera files look like when played back on your computer, then I would say the camera can’t handle the vibration from the ride. I had similar issues with the GoPro (but not nearly as bad) until I bought a RAM mount to mount my GoPro to my bike. This may solve your problem. Here is a thread I did after installing the RAM mount http://www.yamahastarstryker.com/18-mods-accessories/4130-gopro-video-camera-mount-stryker.html

and here is one of my recent GoPro recordings that shows how smooth it is

I'm still not sure this will fix the screen Waving, as it's even happening on the bicycle video i posted.

I appreciate all the input Sdsting. What GoPro do you have, as i might just buy it. The Emerson's settings have almost nothing to it. Just changing from HD to non.

I was considering just getting the GoPro Original Naked, and buying the 3 RAM Mount items to mount it to the bike.

For $55 you are getting what you get. Like someone said probably not enough processor/programming to compensate for the bike/bicycle motions. Too bad because if it was just a little grainy you could accept that for the price point but the bobble makes it tough to watch!
Be great to have some MV footage. We'll take turns being in front of you.
