Thinking about getting some chrome engine gaurds on my Raven, ordering from Yamaha, was wondering if anybody has these on their bike, if so how do they look and how was putting them on..... Thanks !!!!!!

I have the chrome ones on my bike, they look good but they are very small. I wish they were bigger. I just dont see how they will keep the bike off you if you was to lay it down. Maybe its just me...............then again they are engine gaurds.

Ya I have been looking at that Pic 11stryker... I asked in another thread I belive, but I'll ask again.
Did you have to cut the guards to get that one? If so was it above a novice's ability? :-X

I had my engine guard on before I bought the Chin Scoop. So I just used demolition saw with good metal blade and chopped the single bar off that connects the 2 sides of the engine guard. Then just trimmed sharp edges from cut and painted. This will allow the chin scoop to fit and that bar does very little or nothing to help support engine Guards anyway.
