I recently put engine gaurds on my stryker (basic black small guards for the stryker). I also wanted to get forward controls, but when I do the measuring it is really close and looks like it won't work. Does anyone have any experience with this on?

Would be very easy to make 2" extensions of your own, which would work with engine guards. This is on my list to do items!

Just installed my forward controls. My engine guards won't fit with them on . The only way to get them on would be to have new mounts made for them and longer bolts on the forward controls, problem there is they would have to hang from the bracket of the forward controls putting more weight on the controls because the bars would be moved forward as well. Going to see if I can live without them. Might be time for craigslist for the bars, lol. All and all though it took about a hour to install them with the help of the pictures on the forum, I didn't have any left over pieces which is a good thing. :

3" extensions wont fit with the engine guards.
