Ok, my fellow stykers owners, am reaching out here for some help. I have noticed that my engine kinda stutters or cuts in and out in the lower gears... like 1st and 2nd. If I am putin along (steady thottle) around 30-35 in 2nd the engine sounds like it cuts off and back on. The engine rpm's don't seem high enough for the rev limiter ( if it even has one) to kick in.

I have no problems in higher gears, so I am thinking maybe the tuner is having a problem tuning in bottom end. ( just a hunch )

I have talked with Phil from Cobra, and we talked a little about this and he gave some advice on what to check.. ( the connection with the o2 sensor). I told him that I would ask around and check the connections before I call him back.

I would like to see if anyone else having the same problems... modded or stock.. If you could please post your results as soon as possible it would be greatly appricated. I would like to try and get this solved.

Thanks everyone!!

Hey Urban is this a new problem or has it been going on for a while? Reason I ask is if it is brand new it could be a gas problem. Bad gas or dirt in the gas. I had this problem at low speed after one of my fill ups. I put in the highest octain 93 and it cleared up, then went back to 87 the next fill up and everything was fine. Just a guess, couldn't hurt for one fill up.

Hi Urban,

I noticed the same thing in 1st and 2ng gear. I usually fix this by accelerating a little. It is not really a problem, but a little bit annoying. My first service is next week, I will talk to my dealer about it and keep you guys informed.

Thats what mine did after I put 20w-50 oil in it so I blamed the oil and went back to 10w-40 and it hasn't done it yet. I really doubt it was the oil and can't see how that would of caused it but so far thats the only thing I could figure out that was causing it. I don't know what oil your running but if you have 20w-50 in it I would try a lighter oil. If that does fix your problem then I can sleep better knowing that was the problem 8)

Mine did same thing until I put Autotuner on. This also fixed shift points dramatically.
