Exhaust and wheel removel

I was looking at the new V&H staggered and slashed pipes and if i get these it looks like when i want to remove the wheel i would not have to remove the exhaust being they appear to be shorter and do not cover the axel. Unless someone knows of an easier way to remove the wheel? Just thinking time is money if i had to take it to the shop?
