I realize the lighting isn't the best to see the issue I have but these pictures should give a good enough look.

I recently bought this bike and there's what I believe to be some rusting, mostly on the exhaust but a little rust here and there around the bike only on black pieces. Has anyone encountered this before and got the rust off/repainted the rusted parts?

I realize it's not a big deal and purely an aesthetic issue, but if there's a good way to re finish the exhaust pipes especially, I'd love to do it. Thanks!

Is it actually the exhaust pipe or just the pipe covers that are rusting? I don’t have cobra pipes so not sure if they are same as V&H that use covers.

I’d Take them off and painting with some high temp BBQ grill paint from Home Depot or Lowe’s.🤙

Do not sue me if this does not work but you could try removing the rust with Flitz and repainting the pipes with Gunkote.
Not sure I'm sold on trying gunkote for the finish but I've never heard of Flitz before. I'll give that a shot for clearing off all the rust before I repaint

For any curious, painting with the vht and krylon rust tough was pretty easy! I turned over the pipes too early and smudged some sections so I'll end up repainting down the road but the paint in general looks great when complete!

Thanks for the suggestion @HostileStryker
