I have the cobra autotuner, cobra powerflow, and V&H twins.. I spend around 1100 for all 3.. my pipes are loud enough to hear me coming but their not ears bleeding annoying loud.. any aftermarket pipe will be louder than stock and as long as they have baffles they won't be crazy loud.. you could also try to drill holes in stock and see if you like it that way first, after all its free :)

I agree with Michael88997. Do a search on Drilled Exhaust. It's super simple to do, It's louder than stock but not as loud as the aftermarket pipes. If you like it great, If you want louder then you will have to go to aftermarket pipes.

I agree with Chris. I put Cobra Black Swept Exhaust. Spent nearly $700. My brother has VH Big Radius on his Raider, which I like a little better.

Toby drilled his exhaust, mine is still stock. I like the way his purrs, deep, throaty rumble that I can hear behind me, which lets me know where his bike is in relation to mine. It isn't so loud as to call attention from the authorities, but you definitely hear his bike before mine. I haven't changed my exhaust at all, I prefer the stock sound level. I will likely go for a cobra slip on someday, but not to change the sound, it would be so I can use larger saddle bags.
I like the sound of the drilled exhaust, and it only cost the price of a larger longer drill bit.

I'm gonna try the drilling. What size bit works best?

I've seen some with the stock baffle out. Wouldn't this affect the EFI?
4 1/2 holes in each, and if want louder- drill 1" hole in baffle plate from back of muffler. Cat is still in the very front and should not make any difference with EFI till you open up Intake.
