I have the tall factory windshield. I also have a tail bone issue that has prompted me to buy an Air Hawk. The Air Hawk is putting me higher in the seat, and consequently the air over the top of the windshield is now beating the crap out of my head. I think if I could change the angle of the windshield by a half inch or so, it would be fine. Unfortunately I don't see that this windshield can be adjusted. Any thoughts? Am I missing something on the windshield?

Thanks!

Well first, make sure your air hawk is adjusted with JUST enough air in it, I read up on them a lot and you really do not need much to make the cushion do it's job (I am looking at having to do the same thing because a horse broke my tailbone 5 years ago)
The factory windshields bolt to the triple tree, so unless they have a pivot adjustment I am not sure if there is much you can do. I use a memphis shades windshield with universal hardware and it has 4 different pivot points. My windshield is 18 inches and since it sits lower on the stryker then it did on my 950 I angled it more upright instead of keeping the same angle as the forks to keep from getting buffeted.
You may have to go with a different windshield, or see if there is different hardware you can get for the star windshield that is more adjustable.

Is there a way to put a spacer under the top of the mount? That would push it forward a little, enough to change angle of air over the top.
