I don't do rain either. Doesn't rain here in Vegas often so when it does rain the oils and chemicals rise out of the asphalt making the roads slippery as ice. The car slides around bad enough. Love my bike to much to risk it. No limit on temp. Got gear for cold. Only gets down to mid 30s at the coldest. Usually mid 40s in mornings most of the winter.

Rain doesn't bother me at all. But I do get wet a lot faster on the Stryker than I did on my Ninja. It's really cool when we would go riding in large groups and go in and out of these summer showers. After about twenty minutes you were dry again.

I started riding this spring with the highs for the day in the mid 40s meaning it was probably closer to freezing in the morning when I left for work. I don't take the bike out in the rain that much unless I am dressed for it. I hate getting stuck in a T shirt and a sudden thunderstorm.

I live in Oregon so driving in the rain is the norm. Summer if you call it that started 2 weeks ago so our highs have been 70s to low 80s (50s in the morning). There's really only a few weeks total out of the year that you can't ride. Snow, ice or 1st rain if it's been a few days (very rare) since the last rain.

I've been caught in some pretty good downpours on my bikes and it ain't no fun. I try not to ride if it is 40% chance of rain or more. Especially now that my wife rides with me into work. A soaking wet missus is no fun to be around.
