I'll be riding until first snowfall, which will hopefully hold out until December.
I just put the liner in my Icon leather jacket, and a turtle neck underneath.
If it's piercing cold, I wear my Fox Creek leather overpants over my jeans.
That's it.

After all... it ain't cold....it's Canada. :)

I'm also in IL and usually ride till the end of October or first week in November, depending on the weather. When it gets cold I bring out the under armour or chaps. Had to use our chaps this past weekend since we were in Michigan by the lake. Was quite windy and cold. Have ridden when the temps were in the 40's but not easy to stay warm no matter what you are wearing. :frown:

Work boots, sometimes thermals, beater, tshirt, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, leather jacket, gloves, bandana over the face and a beanie

I ride to work at about 530 normally and its about 43 degrees right now. I have a Milwaukee Crazy Horse I bought a couple of weeks ago. And for the money its a pretty good jacket.
I'm looking at pants options right now.

Right now it's hitting the 50 degree mark pretty consistently where I am, so I have my power-trip jacket (w/o the thermal liner yet), and tour master gauntlets.

When it starts to hit the 40's, I will finally break out the full face, put the liner in my jacket, and maybe some thermal undies and a scarf for around my neck...I usually put it over my nose when it gets real cold, because the visor will still fog up, so I have to keep it cracked open. If I didn't put my scarf over my nose, my boogers would freeze ...and that's never a good thing :biggrin1::biggrin1:

It's wet out there right now... we usually bundle up with turtleneck sweatshirts under our leather jackets. Toby will wear a neck scarf to keep his neck warm. we wear gloves we got a couple seasons ago that keep our hands pretty warm in low temps. they are pretty thick tho and take a little getting used to after light summer gloves. If it is wet in addition to being cold, we have our rain gear that goes over our leather gear. Toby will often layer up on the pants, and sometimes I wear a pair of sweats under my pants if it's in the mid 30s when we start out... honestly tho lol we try to save our riding for when the sun is out ;)

And while our summers are no picnic at times yours can be brutal :yuck:
You probably turn the bike on and the cooling fan is running already...

I work 10-7 so its not that bad. Now if you want me to ride when its 100, no problem. I won't do it in the City.... too hot is too hot.

WE will still be riding in shorts in around Thanksgiving!
I don't care if it is 100....I tried the shorts thing, and can't do it. I need jeans

I love to see the colors of fall, but hate cold weather. :(
I am planning a northern ride in Oct...leave CT, hit MA, NH, and VT and enjoy the views

That should be nice. Just don't wait too late in October or you might run into snow. Once the snow comes and they put salt on the roads
I don't ride. Hoping to make it thru the end of October here.

Did you try the shorts with a wife beater, half helmet and runners ... it's the only way to do it from what I see :peace:
