Hey all, We made this product for our Stryker and we wanted to see if anyone else would be interested. This Fat Fork Tube kit comes with 2 upper tubes 2" diameter and 2 rubber fork protectors finished with a "Hot Rod" black similar to the black on the front of the Star Strykers. This kit will sell for $150 complete or $105 for just the upper tubes. If anyone is interested in a pre-order we will offer the complete kit for $115 or just upper tubes for $85. You can also order our Fork caps in black for an additional $50. Delivery time is 4-6 weeks, pre-order will end when product is available on the website. Please email us all your contact info to [email protected] if you are interested.

I am not really into the rubber spring look ... It has a ghetto look to me. But it's just my opinion ...others might like it.

I personally covered the chrone of the upper fork with leather ...a little kit that Fujum offered few weeks ago. It looks amazing and I got tons of compliments on it.

+2 on the rubber covers. This is not a motocross bike :)
I'm only interested in the upper covers.

Not getting the rubber covers at all!, And the upper fork covers to expensive. I just used a little leather had sitting around the house and sewed velcro at seams and wrapped my own uppers. 5.00 maybe in materials.

We like it, it does have a bobber look to it, but it's the best way to black out and protect your forks. We understand some will like the fork covers and some might not, but at least it's another option. If any one has a suggestion to cover the fork seals up to the bottom tree so you don't see any silver please attach a picture to this thread. Thanks for all the feedback!

What about a custom set of machined fork boots? Kinda like HD's sheet metal ones, an inner and a outer that slide over each other? Or even just an upper that the lower fork tube can slide into? An o-ring in the top could hold it up, or a plastic tipped set screw?

That could happen, but then you talking about a kit that would cost 500-600 dollars, just like those HD kits. Just the HD lowers sell for $300 plus and with the Stryker you would need a much larger diameter tube up top. After all that, the tubes would not match the trees in size.
We were trying to make something simple and cost effect. The LM 2" tubes up top are made from metal and are powder coated to match the 2" Lower fork tubes.

Ya, been thinking of a less expensive way(and easier to build) what about a fixed upper that attached just under the lower triple clamp? It could be a machined bushing with a plastic outer tube that would slide over the factory lower? Plastic wouldn't dammage the lower and you could even put in a slider bushing in the fork protecter groove?
