I have been waiting for about 3 months now. I had to wait to close on my house befroe I could get the bike, and the days drug on. Today, I picked up my baby. I am lucky enough to be able to come into work a little late when I am on the night shift. I checked the weather report the night before, and saw clear skys for the next few days. As soon as I left my house, it started to sprinkle. Didn't matter, I had to get it. I was able to get an amazing deal and financing. I got the tour of the bike switches. A few defferences from my other bikes. I finally had the keys and was ready to go. As I climbed on, I got nervous. I have not been on a bike this size, the weather was not looking good, and I worried about whether i would end up nopt liking my choice (did not test drive). As I pulled out of the lot, all my wories dissapeared. This bike exceeded everything I hoped for. Comfort, power, awesomeness. I did find myself having to search for the pegs a few times. I ended up riding for 23 miles (all hwy) and stayed dry. It will be a couple of weeks before I get to ride some "fun" roads. Living in south Houston, or fun roads are very limited. Anyway, I love it.

Hey Johnny, Great to have you here. Another story of someone buying a Stryker without riding it! I brought mine home on back of pickup on dec. 24th 2010. Still had 0 miles till March 2011. I just knew I had to have it and never regretted it.

Welcome Jonny from columbus tx. I bought mine and didnt test either plus hadnt rode in 20 yrs. Had them ride it to my house because I didnt want to hurt my pride by dumping bike in parking lot. Next was riding on wet rodes and loveing every thing about the bike still. Btw u say in south houston about where. Because I go to santa fe and galveston all the time to visit friends. Maybe hook up for a ride some day.

Just did a ride santa fe, alvin, west columbia, freeport, to galveston then santa fe on sunday with some friends and had a blast till we hit traffic hehe. Seawall was packed. If u want to ride and on west side look me up and I be willing ride.
