You could always call the nearest Yamaha dealer. They could probably have one over night and you could stop by and pick it up.
The Yamaha backrest pad is on a national backorder with no ETA...I received my sissy bar last week but the pad backordered. The only folks with it in stock are asking double the price :tsk:

OEM Tall fixed Backrest with Mustang Pad... fits right up... no mods needed.. and a helluve alot more comfortable than that funky OEM one.
cool I just canceled my backordered OE pad and ordered the Mustang pad through Dennis Kirk for $80 delivered. Shows I'll have it by next Monday!

DraEagWol what kind of a passenger seat is that you have there???

Where are you located? They are on national backorder but I am connected to all Yamaha dealers nationwide I could help you find a dealer that says they have 1 in stock.

Look through my photo album / garage for better pics..

but the seats are the Parts Unlimited Solo and Wide Pillion ... the wife really appreciates the couple extra inches on the width.. and it fits snug on the OEM backrest as well. I posted pic's of that as well in one of the other threads... hmm I'll try to find it..

edit: Yep.. go to my garage... there are some good pics on the seats and how the passenger pillion sets up against the OEM backrest.

oh and always shoot Jordan a quick email... for pricing and availability... he's the BEST!

Thanks for all the suggestions, I found one on ebay of all places for about $10 more than they are normally and just had it over nighted. I didn't realize these were in such high demand when I ordered the backrest for our ride this weekend.
