Has anyone had this issue: Oil warning light comes on & flashes 10 times & then off for 3 seconds & then 10 more flashes (Flash is like a turn signal light flashing).... does this w/engine off & ignition key to ON position as well as when engine is running, and never quits until you turn off key or engione. Appears to be some kind of sensor warning signal as opposed to being related to Oil level. Called Yamaha Dlr Serv.dept- they don't know what it is,suspect Fuel injection sensor issue. If anyone has had this issue what was it & what was the fix? Thanks in advance Mike

Sounds like time for a new dealer! A quick search of the shop manual (linked in a sticky in the general forum on this site) resulted in the answer. Page 8-112, paraphrasing here, but 10 flashes then off for 2.5 sec means malfunction detected in oil level switch, replace switch.

+1 on that. A service dept that can't even diagnose a fault code is not one I'd want working on my bike!

Ya, this is why I don't trust to many mechanic's. If they know what the problem is they can fix it, but a lot of them can't figure out what the problem unless a routine thing like brakes ,steering or lights.

UPDATE- back on 5/30 the part needed-Oil Level switch was on nation back order til 6/24 , after call to Yamaha & Dlr calling srvc support Yamaha has air shipped one from Japan & it is suppose to be @ the Dlrshp tomorrow,6/9 & dlr says will replc it Mon. if it arrives before 2pm otherwise on 6/10. Note: These switches are a weak link on engine & it seems like Yamaha has just changed supplier for this part.

I have had my oil light come on for a couple seconds once I start on a run but within a mile or so it will go off.

I questioned the dealer I bought my Stryker from, the tech said he has talked to Yamaha direct and there will be a bulletin issued stating it is just an air pocket causing a misreading.

Might be true, or it might be BS.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Add a smidgeon more oil. I have not have this happen, but other members have. Fill to top of sight glass with bike setting level.
