Hey all. Just got my (new) blue 2011 Stryker last weekend. I've been riding sport bikes for 10 years, and traded in my 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 for the Stryker. Loving the Stryker, it's a great bike.

Totally bone stock for now, and it'll probably stay mostly stock. I'm thinking pipes and some small things, like billet mirrors and engine covers.

I had the mod bug on...well, basically every vehicle I've ever owned. On my last bike, I managed to keep it to only some classy minimalist cosmetic mods, and some performance stuff. Things like levers, springs, enging protection, etc. I think I will be able to keep the trend going this time around, and just do the important/desperately wanted stuff.

Thanks for the warm welcome, folks!

Welcome from Champaign, IL.

Look into the Vance and Hines Twin Staggered Black exhaust. It's soooo sexy on the blue and copper.

Ha! Nice going on your loop hole for when you end up modding everything ;)

Any cool bike hangouts/get-togethers that I should know about? I'm in San Clemente.
Try out Cooks Corner in Silverado, just north of Lake Forest. It's a beautiful ride to get there, lots of cool people and bikes.

I've been to Lookout many times on my sportbike, so I'm familiar with the road and it's quirks. I'll have to be extra careful out there on the Stryker for the first time, since I'm still not totally used to the cornering dynamics and ground clearance on the Stryker. I've only been on it (and it's first cruiser) for a week, afterall.
