Most of you probably thought of this when you lowered your back ends, but if you are like me then you forgot. If you lowered the back then your headlight will most likely need to be re-adjusted. I went for my first ride during darkness last night since I lowered my back end. Everything was fine till I noticed that I was blinding the crap out of everybody. It was aimed way to high. to save some of you time looking it up, you turn both adjusting screws counter-clockwise the same number of turns unless you need to make left/right adjustments. Thought I would bring it up to you all just in case you forgot like me.

Oops lol at least you realized it
Correction- to adjust the light down you adjust the left screw counter clockwise and the right one clockwise as you face the front of the headlight. I did mine in my garage using the wall. You just measure from the floor to the center of your headlight and then shine your headlight against the wall from about twenty feet away. adjust until the center of the beam on the wall equals the center headlight measurement.

No. Not sure it would fit. Plus it fills the fender enough for my liking. I'm a tall guy so it's nice.

Thanks for the info. I need to adjust my headlight but only because the dealership mechanics had it pointing up too high.

i had to adjust mine but that was because the dealership had it pointed down so far that i had to run the bright light to just see at night...

What did you use to adjust the bolts. Mine are round and I don't want to use pliers because I don't want to scratch the bolts.

Not the bolts on the sides. there are sloted holes on either side of the bottom part of the light. there are screws in those holes that you can get a screwdriver in and turn to raise or lower the light.

Yeah I figured it out after I posted. Thanks for the pics thought. Pretty sure it will help some other knucklehead like me! Got the lights shootin straight!

I spent a couple days wondering why the road signs 20 feet over the road were lighting up everytime i went by before I figured out the light was pointing almost strigt up
