Ok, I do not condone or praise the use of this mod, BUT......

This is simply to inform and educate. I just learned that the Stryker must not have a good clearance to take tight turns or twisties......this is unacceptable.
I believe if you offset the height with the bigger rear tire and get some fork extensions, you guys may have a good outcome. There have been some debate about fork extensions and some will have different opinions....thats ok, this is what this forum is here for. Personally, I lowered my bike....it drug too easily, ok put a bigger tire, that helped a bit, but after I put just a 2" extension on my bike, everything changed. The bike stood better on its stand and it lifted the bike just enough where I can take switchbacks and dont scrape anything......maybe my stirrup , but thats it. My fellow bikers scrape all kinds of stuff. Not me. Just putting it out there.

Well, I know a guy named Billski who makes them and as I said just 2" helped me. He makes 2, 3, and 4". I would assume that they would be about the same for Stryker as Raider in that you do NOT have to buy longer brake lines unless you go 3 or 4". It does help offset from lowering the rear and I can literally turn my bike inside to inside lanes....making a u turn.

We had to call for raider extensions, you may have to do the same. I do not recommend getting linrs from him though. He just throws anything he has together. Again....there is alot of debate about this mod, so do some research. Id suggest the raider forum.

Who said we don't have enough clearence to ride the twistys. I have spent several days in the Blue Ridge Mountains riding the roads and haven't had any problems, other than the occasional peg scrape, and my heels every once in a while.

I have my bike dropped 2.5 inches with three inch peg extensions. I also put on Kuryakan switchblades. I only have issues dragging when the heal rest is open. This probably has to do with the fact the grinde protectors (can't think of what they are called at this moment) extend about 3/4 of an inch down.

With the pegs closed I will usually drag my heals before the pegs. Either way I can lean as hard as I want and don't have any problems.

Deja, I guess the controversy about fork extensions is they throw the balance of the bike off because it shifts the weight if the bike. Is this to what your referring? BTW-your bike is beautiful.

Same here! Even with my wife on the back... I can navigate some pretty good twists!

Actually the controversy is in the integrity....not shifting the weight. Alot of people didnt mind all the talk and stuck with the extensions because they love them so much. I just saw alot of people here complaing about scraping their bike here and said they couldnt take twisties. I found it hard to believe myself.....so just tried to help.

When you say integrity does that mean people indicate it causes the forks to fail in some way? I'm curious.
