Any recommendation on what length forward controls I should order? I'm 6 foot 1 inch and I am having a hard time determining if I should order 3", 4" or 6"? I can get a set of 3" Scoot Mods for $100 which is really a great deal but would be bummed if it wasn't long enough. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys might have.

I've got the lightning forward control extension kit which was 3 inches. They work fantastic with the Star floorboards I got. MUCH more ground clearance and my legs can actually relax. With a 6 inch extension, you should just get highway pegs!

i"m 6'1" as well, I have the PCS 3" extensions and kuryakyn swing wings, my feet hit the pegs perfect now and i can thrown my heels out on the swing wings when i really wanna stretch out

I'm 6'-0" and just installed Scootmod 3" Forward Extension kit. I have not ridden wtih them yet since it is raining here today, but just sitting on the bike I can feel a world of difference. I'll let you know after tomorrow (I hope to get out if it stops raining). I would think the 3" would be fine.

Just got back from my first ride with the Scootmod Forward Extensions. It made a world of difference. I now feel like I am sitting in a very natural position. My wife said it looks a lot more comfortable. The only I thing I need to do is to increase the angle of the shift linkage. With a slightly more stretched out position, I need to add more room for the boots. But this is a few minute adjustment.

I am 6'1" also and was wondering about the three inch also, I ran into another forum member (Zolmite) who had them on his bike. He let me sit on his bike and it is so much more comfortable than stock. As soon as i got home i emailed Scootmods and within 10 minutes i had them ordered and paid for. Now the wait, You will not be dissapointed with the scootmods 3"

Don't look just order it ;D I'm 6'3 as well and I have the scootmod which is the easiest to install no extra parts or hoses needed

Yep the forward controls are worth every penny.

I am at a stand still here. Trying to decide if I should go with the forward controls or the kury swing wing pegs. Both have gotten great review so I don't think I will go wrong either way, but curious if one would be better. I am 6'0 and wanting to stretch out my legs more like everyone else. The forward controls are cheaper so I was leaning that direction but was curious if people have tried both and which one they prefered.

I'm not 100% sure on this but i don't think the Kury swing wings with pegs will move your feet any more further. The scoot mod footpeg relocators will put them forward three inches, and on the long hauls you can kick your heels over the pegs to really stretch out. Again not 100% certain on the swing wings.
